In short: the free sample lesson keeps your child’s first name and lesson results in your own browser. We don’t receive them. We don’t record voices, we don’t upload handwriting, and we don’t show ads.

Services that deliver the pages

Early-access list

If a grown-up joins the early-access list, we collect:

This is stored in a private database at Amazon Web Services in the United States. We use it only to send news about Reading Sleuth, such as when the full program opens. We don’t sell or share it. To unsubscribe or have your information deleted, email support@readingsleuth.com and we will remove it.

Children

Reading Sleuth is made for children to use with a grown-up. A grown-up should complete the setup screen. We do not ask children for personal information, and the lesson does not send any to us. Please don’t enter your child’s name or email in the early-access form. If you believe a child sent us personal information, email support@readingsleuth.com and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update this notice when the product changes, for example when accounts, subscriptions or the early-access list are added. The date at the top shows the latest version.
